Project in the Metropolitan Region enters environmental qualification process
According to information from the Environmental Evaluation Service (SEA), the project "Linderos Electrical Substation Sectioning" in the commune of Buin, Metropolitan Region, was submitted for environmental qualification. This initiative is part of the development plan of the Zonal Transmission System "E" and seeks to respond to the provisions of Exempt Decrees N°35/2022 and N°257/2022, which establish new works necessary to guarantee the safety, stability and efficiency of the national electric system. The estimated investment of the project amounts to US$16,589,749 million, and its execution is scheduled to begin in July 2026.
